Dear my beloved sister,

It has been long time not to see you. I have a story for you. Wednesday, June 22nd, 2010 at my campus we had Cultural Day. Cultural day is a very big event for all the students of English Education of Semarang State University who take Cross Culture Understanding course included me. In this occasion we had a talk show with a native speaker, performance, food festival, displays, and all of us were dressed in costumes.

Firstly, we started our day with talk show with a native speaker, she was Martina. There was an interactive talk show there that all the visitors could join and follow it.

Second, straight after our talk show we had performances from all the classes which represent their countries. There were Australian, USA, UK, China and Japan, and India. I like the performance from India, there was a dance from India and a war drama about Crusader and Sultan Salahudin AL Ayyubi.

Third, we had food festival. There was a food court there. Every committee had job there and my job was to serve the visitors. The food came from those five countries. They were Brusetta from Australia, Sandwich from USA, Bubble Squeak from UK, Ebi Furai from Japan, and Gulab Jamna and Canai from India but one I like best is Gulab Jamna, its taste is sweet and it was served with soup made from kalpulaga.

This event took lots of concentration and costs much money that we had to prepare for it for two months. It was tiring event.

Although it was tiring and costs much money Cultural day was still very fun for me. I will never forget that beautiful outrageous event.

I think that is all my letter, I need to take nap for a while. Hope you have the same experience as me.
