FINAL NARRATIVE TEXT

SUTERA KINGDOM
(Final Test)

Long ago there lived a man, very rich man, whose name was Sute. He could buy anything with his riches. Although he could do anything, he was still not happy. He longed to be even richer but he felt there was something missing. He was confused of what he hadn’t gotten.

One day, Sute thought so hard and asked his servant about his problem. “Master”, said the first servant. “I think we should hold a contest to solve your mysterious problem”. “I’m ready to spread the announcement towards all of this country”. “Master, I think we should try to call Era, he is poor but he has something that can make everything loves him,” said the third servant. “Is it the truth? How can an ugly man can do anything,” said Sute. “Yes, master. He even has very big power to change anything,” replied the third servant.

Sute had an idea; he did what the third servant suggested. He welcomed Era and said “You are my honorable guest. Please eat and drink as much you like”. He wished Era would do a favor after giving anything he wanted. Unfortunately, after a year there was no effect. Sute could hardly believe this. He spent anything but he didn’t get anything. Sute was very angry and desired to kill Era because he just spent anything he had.

“I hear you have a big power but in fact you are nothing!!,” shouted Sute. Era replied “what do you want for me? I’m just an ordinary people.” “I want you to solve my freak problem but you do nothing! Do something!!.” “If that is what you want, you should come to my place first and leave all of your riches,” said Era.

Without thinking Sute accepted what Era advised. They went to the place which was far away, remote and untouchable. Sute was afraid because he had to survive there till his problem was solved. He did everything by himself not his servant as usual. At the very first time he had many difficulties but finally after long time, he could adapt to situation and he felt the problem was gone but there was another problem appeared.

“Era, I feel my old problem is gone but why do I still have another problem and I don’t know what!?,” said Sute. “You know why? First, when I came into your place, I saw that you did anything you wanted with your riches but you forget that nature is limited, So there is a huge exploitation and causing many harms like pollutions, hot weather, and unpredictable weather that’s why you feel inconvenient. You miss fresh air and peace but you don’t try to recycle, what you have done is exploiting not exploring them so I brought you to this place. Second, after you adapt to this place, you realize with natural conservation you can survive because you become one with nature, you give anything to nature and realize the importance of nature but you forget the balancing of life. That is human and nature, here, your problem of nature is solved but you forget to interact with human. “What should I do?”, said Sute. “You should interact with people and nature and you know what should you do”, Era answered.
Sute came back to his place and commanded his entire servant to move into his new place. Then, he built market, palace and many strategic buildings without trying to defect nature. After many years, there are a lot of newcomers there and It became good government but there was no king there.

Sute realized that his riches were nothing if it was used just for consumption but not tried to take advantages and cared with nature. He also realized the balance of life. Not needed long time the people chose Sute to become his king but Sute wanted his kingdom was led by two kings, so, he inaugurated Era to be another king. That’s why it was named Sutera Kingdom. It was formed by Sute and Era
