TITLE	REVIEW OF DETECTIVE CONAN IN 26TH SERIES
A PARAGRAPH INTRODUCING THE TEXT BEING JUDGED	Detective Conan in 26th series is a comic which was written by Aoyama Gosho. The first publishing was in Japan in 2000 by Shogakukan Inc. And Indonesian translation right arranged with Shogakukan Inc through Japan.
A DESCRIPTION OF THE TEXT	The little detective boy, Conan Edogawa is actually a famous senior high school detective name Sinichi Kudo. He hides his identity because he got into difficult case and temporary lives in the office of Detective Kogoro Mouri who is the father of Ran Mouri (Sinichi Kudo’s girl friend). In this seri, Conan’s identity is almost revealed by Ran Mouri. If his Ran knows his real identity, she will be killed by Kudo’s enemy. So, the comic tells how Sinichi Kudo acts as real Sinichi Kudo, the high shool detective and as Conan Edogawa, the student of elementary school. He also wants to tell his feeling to Ran but the cases come accidentally.
A JUDGEMENT OF THE TEXT	Detective Conan is a very moving comic with clear characters and a plot that keeps readers ‘ interest. You will feel curious about the suspect, his or her trick to kill, and the romance between Ran and Sinichi. It a message of the power of intelligence and know somebody heart by heart. It makes this a highly suitable comic for everyone in all age.

Theme : Environment (The stand’s situation of rombel four in Cultural Day)

TITLE	CULTURAL DAY FOR CCU ROMBEL FOUR
IDENTIFICATION	Cultural Day is a big day for Cross Cultural Understanding (CCU) course and for students of English Education program in Semarang State University (UNNES).
DESCRIPTION	Cultural Day is held on June 22nd, 2010 as a final test for CCU course. Every rombel has to present a performance, unique decoration in each stand and wearing costumes that symbolized which country that we are represented. My rombel is rombel four and we present about Chinese and Japanese culture. We decorate our stand into two culture. If you see from the north, on the right side you will see the gate of China temple. And on the top of the gate, there is some letters which mean “welcome”. Then, in the middle of the stand there is a table for displaying Chinese and Japanese food, like Mantao, Bakpao, Siomay, and fried flour shrimp with Teriyaki Sausage, and some merchandise, such as, little China paper lanterns and some cards that show a little girl wear a kimono, traditional Japanese cloth. This merchandise is given to the guests that visit our stand. Then let’s we move to the left side of the stand, it represents Japanese culture. You can see an imitation of Sakura and Maple Tree in the corner of the stand and you could enjoy a room that we have prepared for tea ceremony complete with the scenery of little pond. You will feel as peace as Japan because we have made Japanese wall partition. We also provide Japanese and Chinese comics, for you who crazy in reading comics. We prepare our stand as cozy as possible. And finally Cultural Day is successfully held till 1.30 p.m. We thank that our work hard come in a good end

TITTLE	THE LITTLE BLUE BIRD
ORIENTATION	One day, my little brother, Hendry, sadly came to me. He was crying and closely hugged me. I wondered what happened with him. Then I asked him, he answered that he got six in mathematics and that was the lowest mark in his class. He scared, our Mom would be angry. I smiled and softly stroke his head. I ask him not to cry anymore because I would tell him a story.
EVALUATION	Long, long time ago there was a couple of Blue Bird which lived in the hill of Green Mountain. The female bird had laid eggs for 21 days and it was the time for the eggs to be hatched. The father accompany the mother seriously, and right, all the eggs were hatched. There were five sweet baby blue birds. But, the little one looked smaller than the others.
COMPLICATION	When all the babies got older and stronger enough, the father bird taught them to fly. The father bird asked them to see and watch his technique from the first that they had to attention before they flew. Then all the birds practiced it. There was not any problem from the first until the fourth birds but the fifth bird got difficulty to fly. His swings were small. He could not fly perfectly. Every time he tried and every time he fell down. His brother laughed and jeered him. The Little Bird sobbed and got away.
RESOLUTION	The next morning, after he was thinking all night long the Little Bird got an idea. If his swing were small, he could ask his mother’s fur to make them longer.
COMPLICATION	After he asked some fur to her mother, he cheerfully tried to fly. Instead of flew perfectly, he was hooked to a group of cactus. He cried loudly and asked for somebody help.
RESOLUTION	The Yellow Parquet that accidentally was coming through heard the Little Blue Bird cried. Fastly she drew near the Little Bird and pulled him. While the Yellow Parquet was pulling out the thorns in Little Bird’s swings, he told the whole story why he could hook to the cactus. The Yellow Parquet smiled. Then she whispered something that would make him could fly. The eyes of the Little Bird shined, hastily he thanked to The Yellow Parquet and went home.
COMPLICATION	In order to prove what the Yellow Parquet saying, the next morning he tried again to fly. But his back and swings felt pain. So, he had to take rest for a couples days.
RESOLUTION	After he got well, he did what the Yellow Bird saying. He swam every morning in the river and ate some beans regularly. In the afternoon, he practiced to fly. And finally, two weeks later, he could fly perfectly. Then he went home and showed to his parents and his brothers the result of his practice. His family was surprised and proud of him. And time by time the Little Bird became the fastest aviator in the hill of Green Mountain.
RE-ORIENTATION	After I finished my story, my brother Hendry asked me if it was true. Then I nodded. Swimming made your bone strong and beans contained calcium and helped your body growth. Then The Little Bird never forgot to practice. My little brother nodded. Then Hendry said that if he practiced a lot, he could get ten in Mathematics. Yes, I confirmed and I added that he could ask me if he got any difficulty in Mathematics. And finally he hugged me and smiled widely.
