Stranger Online was written by Carol Smith and created by Terry K. Brown. It first published in 1986 by A Division of Thomas Nelson, Inc. It tells us about the friendship between six extraordinary girls, Maya, Alex, Amber, Jamie, Morgan, and Bren, who create the TodayGirls.com Website.
This teen-novel tells us about the journey of the teenagers of junior high school which is fulfilled by laughter, tears, and lots of fun. Peek into their daily chats about plans, problems, boys, classes, parents, and million of real-life issues heading their way at cyber-speed. Amber, who created a website for privacy between she and herfriends chat, was sent an e-mail by “a stranger”. She, whom nick was faithful1, spent months working on security for TodayGirls.com but the stranger could infiltrate to her website, it frightened her so she decided to talk about it with her close friends, Maya as nycbutterfly and Bren as chicChick.
To save her reputation at school and keep her position on the swim team, Amber must uncover identity of mysterious stranger who has been sending threatening e-mail messages to her website. At the end of the story, Amber found that the stranger was one of friends of her.
This teen-novel leads us to face the teen-problems which usually happen. It is good to be read by teenagers because it teaches about friendship and faithfulness.
